Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly has announced the expansion of the free GP care scheme

The scheme is to now include all children aged six and seven, now covering everyone under 8 years of age, now totalling 500k people covered in the scheme. This expansion will be followed by another giving free GP care to people earning up to the median income in September and November.
