Tavira, Catsro Marim and São Brás de Alportel have all been placed on maximum fire alert for today. Silves, Loulé, Aljezur, Alcoutim and Monchique are all on the second highest level fire advisory.
Currently, only one fire, located in Guarda, is considered of concern to firefighters.
