Despite indifferent form in the English Premier League, Chelsea won their opening Champions League fixture while FC Porto drew in the Ukraine against Dynamo Kiev.
The Chelsea manager will once again be looking to match his success at FC Porto, where he won a Champions League title back in 2004, something he has been unable to do during his time in London.
