Among the establishments targeted were petrol stations, supermarkets and banks in the areas of Santa Iria da Azóia, Amadora, Sintra, Cascais, Queluz, Famões, São João da Talha, Estoril and Rio de Mouro.


The group was dismantled after the men were caught and arrested in February 2015.


The main culprit is facing charges of 15 counts of aggravated robbery, among others, and all four are accused of being in possession of illegal weapons, theft, forgery and disobedience.
