Despite a few showers and thunderstorms that could occur in the interior and central regions today, places such as Beja and Évora can look forward to highs in the low 30s.
Tomorrow and Wednesday could see the mercury drop slightly before rising again on Thursday and the country in general should stay hot until Friday.
