In a statement released on Thursday, the union said that the strike is related to “the lack of recognition by the ministry of justice of the mandatory work carried out by the judicial officers, without payment or recognition, in particular for the retirement regime.”
This year, the union has joined forces with a national strike by court officials’ union scheduled for 29 June, 2 and 3 July, and the partial stoppage that is currently underway until 31 December.
