The Portuguese Met Office the IPMA placed the districts of Oporto, Viana do Castelo, Leiria, Aveiro, Coimbra and Braga under the warning between 12 noon and 9pm today due to rainy conditions and sometimes heavy downpours.
Snow is also expected to fall in high-lying areas. The Algarve is forecast to be one of the warmest places in Portugal in coming days, with highs today of around 20 degrees Celsius.

my wife and i landed.in Faro at 0900 this morning and are staying in Lagos,i can tell you catagorically its Feezing cold with a fair breeze.I know if you get in a sheltered spot it is warm but walking about its cold.
