Algarve hotels with almost full occupancy until June

Five-star hotels in the Algarve are anticipating a bed occupancy rate of over 80% by next month.

According to RTP news, at least three chains are responsible for more than 4.5 million euros in reservations for the coming months. More than 25 thousand tourists are due to arrive at Faro Airport by the end of this week.

would like to see staff payed a livable wage while i was in the restaurant business payed my staff better because staff changes have a cost espically cooks and prep cook my average turnover was 8 yrs and had many for 15 yrs

Maybe they can pay their staff more than 600 euros per month before tax.

After all they charge 5 star prices.

It is a disgrace how badly paid the workers are in Portugal.
