In a statement, SEF indicates that the 33-year-old man, under whom a European arrest warrant was pending in the context of a process related to human trafficking, issued by Italy, was arrested on Sunday in the Alentejo city.
According to SEF, the arrest “was possible after several steps taken by the SEF”, which “allowed the location” of the suspect.
