According to this measure, travellers do not need to present the document that proves that they are vaccinated, that they have overcome the disease or that they have a recent negative test (known as the '3G rule').

Strict regulations remain for travellers from countries dominated by the most aggressive variants of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes the disease Covid-19, who must undergo 12 days of quarantine, regardless of whether or not they are vaccinated.

“Until the end of August, we will leave the 3G rule on hold”, advanced the Minister of Health, Social Democrat Karl Lauterbach, in statements to the media group Funke.

The health official did not clarify whether this measure will return in September and said that it depends on the evolution of contagions.
