Lisbon: It will be feeling slightly cooler over the weekend but it will still be very hot with temperatures peaking at highs of 33 degrees and dropping to nightly lows of 20 degrees. On Monday temperatures are to drop to highs of 30 degrees before beginning to rise once again on Tuesday.

The north: Intermittent cloud cover is predicted on Saturday, while on Sunday there will be hazy high cloud with temperatures reaching highs of 33 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. Monday and Tuesday are to be cooler with a slight chance of rain however thermometers are on the rise again from Wednesday.

The centre: Blue skies and highs of 39 degrees are forecast for Saturday before dipping slightly to highs of 37 degrees on Sunday. Monday and Tuesday are to be cooler but from Wednesday the temperatures are on the up again, reaching the 37 degree mark by Thursday with lows of 21 degrees.

The south: Clear skies are predicted over the weekend with temperatures peaking at 31 degrees and dropping to nightly lows of 23 degrees. Intermittent cloud cover is expected from Monday and for the rest of the week with temperatures slowly rising each day up to highs of 34 degrees once again.

Madeira: Cloud cover is to remain with sunny spells over the weekend when temperatures are to reach highs of 23 degrees and lows of 19 degrees. From Monday the clouds are to clear a little and temperatures are to rise up to 27 degrees by mid-week.

The Azores: There will be a good chance of rain on Saturday when temperatures are to hit highs of 25 degrees and lo0ws of 19 degrees. Sunday is to be mainly dry with a chance of showers before the weather clears up a little on Monday and temperatures rise to highs of 26 degrees.
