Compared to April 2022, this is an increase of 7.5%, with a growth of 0.5% compared to March.

The largest growth in sales volume came from bars, with a 14% increase, with motor deals improving by 10.3%. Clothing, footwear and textiles also saw an increase of 9.5%. The motor industry was subject to the biggest annual growth, clocking in at 18.1%. In the last year, books, newspapers and stationery also witnessed a 5.9% growth, while the fuel sector grew by 5.5%.

Food, beverages and tobacco’s sales declined by 7.8% by volume over the past 12 months, furniture and lighting stores also not fairing well, with a 6.4% decline.
