On September 1, the musical event at Boucher Road Playing Fields will begin at 6.15 p.m. with an opening set by Cian Ducrot and end at 7.30 p.m. with the headline support artist Johnny Marr. At 8.45 p.m., The Killers will start their main stage performance.
The Brandon Flowers-fronted outfit, which last performed in Belfast in 2019, has sold 25 million records, amassed a record seven consecutive UK Number One albums, and served as the headlining act at every major festival on the planet, including Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
Last week, the group unveiled a brand-new song called Your Side of Town. "The ghosts of a lot of the synth music that inspired us over the years" are present in the song, according to Flowers.
“The Killers discography speaks for itself, and spectators at Belfast Vital 2023 will get the opportunity to witness a band at the pinnacle of their powers”, according to Belfast Vital organisers MCD.
