In a statement, the transport company, managed by Lisbon City Council, explains that it will reinforce the Rede da Madrugada service from 00:00 on New Year's Eve (31 December to 1 January).

The reinforcements will take place in Cais do Sodré (201 bound for Algés and 202 bound for Sete Rios), Rossio (207 bound for Lumiar and 736 bound for Senhor Roubado) and Santa Apolónia/Cais da Lingueta (210 and 728 bound for destination to Estação do Oriente).

The reinforcements, according to Carris, will have departure times and destinations “managed according to demand in each location”.

Also according to the company, the regular offer of Rede da Madrugada will also be fully operational, limited only by some traffic cuts around Praça do Comércio or other locations in the city, which may be defined by the authorities.
