If you received an email from the Tax Authority (AT) asking you to confirm your email or telephone number, it means that your contacts are not confirmed or reliable and, therefore, you should do so.

"Have you recently received an email from AT to confirm your email and/or telephone number? It is because you have activated sending emails and your email address is not confirmed/reliable", explains AT, in a post shared on Facebook.
The Tax Authority explains that confirming contacts is essential to receive communications from AT.
"In order for us to send you these communications, it is essential that you confirm your contacts on the Finance Portal".
