The price of diesel, the most widely used type of fuel in Portugal, is expected to rise by 1.5 cents per litre, while petrol will rise by one cent per litre starting Monday, according to ECO.
When you go to the petrol station, you should start paying €1.533 per litre for regular diesel and €1.689 per litre for regular 95 petrol, taking into account the average prices charged at the pumps on Tuesday, according to data from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG).
There had already been a rise in fuel prices this week. Diesel and gasoline both rose by half a cent per litre.
