According to information released by TAP, flights between Porto and Terceira will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Porto at 3:20 PM and arriving in Terceira at 5:00 PM, while in the opposite direction, flights depart at 5:50 PM, arriving in Porto at 9:15 PM.
TAP also adds that the new route between Porto and Terceira Island will be operated with an A320neo aircraft, with a capacity to transport 168 passengers between the two destinations.
Madeira
On the same day, March 29, 2026, TAP will also reinforce its operations between Porto and Funchal, Madeira, with four more flights per week, increasing from 14 to 18 weekly frequencies.
TAP's new flights between Porto and Funchal operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, departing Porto at 12:10 PM and arriving in Funchal at 2:15 PM. The return flight departs Cristiano Ronaldo Airport at 3:05 PM and arrives at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport at 5:05 PM.
With this new route and increased frequencies, TAP states that it "reinforces its fundamental role in mobility between Porto and the Northern region and the autonomous regions of the Azores and Madeira, once again demonstrating its contribution to national cohesion."

Their fare prices are highly uncompetitive, to the point it's difficult to believe this airline would ever be viable if not for the constant robbery of public money.
