Lisbon: It will be a wet weekend in the capital with temperatures reaching highs of 23 degrees and nightly lows of 17 degrees. The rain is set to ease a little from Monday but there will be a chance of showers for the remainder of the week as temperatures average highs of 23 degrees and lows of 16 degrees.

The north: Heavy rain is expected all weekend in the north with north westerly winds and average highs of 23 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. From Monday there will be more chance of an appearance from the sun but rain is predicted for the rest of the week while temperatures remain steady.

The centre: It is set to rain throughout the weekend in the centre of Portugal, dropping temperatures to average highs of 19 degrees and lows of 15 degrees. From Monday the thermometer is set to rise slightly up to highs of 21 degrees and the rain is set to subside by Tuesday.

The south: Intermittent rain showers are expected in the south over the weekend, leading to temperatures falling to average highs of 23 degrees and lows of 17 degrees. From Tuesday the rain clouds are to clear and the temperatures are to rise again to highs of 25 degrees and nightly lows of 16 degrees.

Madeira: It is to be a dry and warm weekend in Madeira with intermittent sunshine and temperatures reaching average highs of 26 degrees and lows of 21 degrees. The warmest day of the week is expected on Tuesday before rain showers begin on Wednesday.


Azores: There is a slight chance of rain in the Azores over the weekend and the cloud cover is going to see temperatures fall slightly to daily highs of 24 degrees and nightly lows of 18 degrees. From Monday the chance of rain is set to increase and will remain for the rest of the week.
