Costa today receives parties to seek consensus on new combat measures

Prime Minister António Costa is today to meet with parties with parliamentary representation to seek a consensus for the adoption of immediate measures to combat the covid-19 pandemic, which has registered a continuous increase in Portugal.

The new measures to be taken by the Government will be announced by António Costa, on Saturday. Yesterday Portugal registered the highest number of new daily cases since the start of the pandemic, with 4,224 new cases in 24 hours and 33 deaths associated with the covid-19 disease.

So the grandest joke of all has finally been dropped......
President Marcelo has admitted that the "borough lockdown" currently in place until the 3rd of November is not legally binding as Portugal is not in a "State of Emergency"
So long story short it looks like the President of Portugal has failed his own people by decreeing a restriction that is against the constitution.
Oh my God, whats next ? !
This is getting more embarrassing by the day if not the hour !
