According to newspaper Correio da Manhã the dog, a husky, belonged to a disabled man from whom the animal is said to have been inseparable. The incident happened over a week ago when the man left the dog tied up outside the shopping centre while he went in, as animals are banned from the establishment. An appeal to find the dog and reunite it with its owner has been shared hundreds of times on Facebook.
