Portuguese public health said researchers the UK failed to properly consider the location of cases, death rates, testing, hospital admissions and other important factors.
Researchers also said lack of such approach led the UK to adopt an inadequate Covid-19 related travel policy that, without contributing in a relevant way to prevent transmission, has had a significantly negative impact at the socio-economic, political and diplomatic levels.
Just look at the Portugal Covid-19 related events and graph trends since May when the rules over controlling the virus where relaxed or eliminated. A number of imprudent and unwise decisions where made for the sake of saving the economy, i.e., the tourism sector. The UK may is not the best example but we are suffering the consequences of negligent government "positivism". Look at the Johns Hopkins' data and after tell me if those countries that are difficulting travelling to Portugal have not good reasons? At the same time Portugal opened the doors to countries such as Brazil, UK and other where the pandemic is ripe!

I understand you are exempt from all rules if your road trip passes through Bearham Castle. A round trip from Lisbon of 3000 km.

Typical blumdering about by so-called -'experts' advising politcians afraid of making a decisive, progressive move towards recovery. Britain and Portugal are Europes oldest allies and from perso al experiences, the ordinary Portuguese people are taking covid protection far more seriously than my countrymen.
