The National Institute of Statistics (INE) has announced that entrepreneurial investment should increase by 3.7% this year, after having done so by 4.7% in 2018.

The INE further indicated that ‘the main factor limiting entrepreneurial investment [as] identified by companies in 2018 and 2019 was the deterioration of sales perspectives, followed, in both years, by uncertainty about the profitability of investments’.

Moreover, the Institute also predicted a rise in the relative weight of the deterioration of sales perspectives, and a reduction in the relative weight of the insufficiency for self-financing.
