Jeroen Dijsselbloem, who is also the Dutch finance minister, said Portugal was still in danger and that the country needs to boost its economy and competitiveness so as not to lose the ground it has gained in recent years.


The Eurogroup can still overturn the decision by the European Commission not to impose any sanctions on Portugal, but will need a qualified majority to do so.
