The plan is for the new municipal kennel to be built on a plot in Medronhal, in Guilhim, by 2020.

The structure will have an area for rehoming animals, a quarantine area, a cattery and a kennel area comprising 42 collective boxes.

There will also be outdoor areas and the facilities will have capacity for 173 healthy animals.
