Along with Madrid-Lisbon and Madrid-Porto routes, Iberia will start operating at Faro and Funchal airports from Madrid during the summer season and will also carry out weekly flights between Funchal and Santiago de Compostela, in Spain.

The company is to offer 145% more seats compared to last year from and to Faro airport since flights will be operated with A320 planes, which have a capacity of between 141 and 200 passengers.

This route will have an average of four flights per week until 26 October, five in July and eight in August.
