Portuguese airport operator ANA is reported to be readying plans to build a third terminal at Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado Airport.

Despite already aiming to spend 250 million euros at a complementary airport at Montijo south of the Tagus, ANA is reported by Diário de Notícias to have set aside 400 million euros for a new terminal in Lisbon dedicated to international flights.

The new satellite terminal is expected to be built as an island between runways and will be linked to the main terminal building by means of a tunnel.
