More strikes from Portugal’s nurses

Portugal’s nurses will be striking again this week, this time in the north and centre of the country, on Wednesday and Thursday.

The action follows three days of strike held last week in Lisbon, the Alentejo and the Algarve.

The action is intended to demand a revision of nurses’ salaries, work contracts and overtime.
