According to the IPMA, more than two dozen municipalities in the districts of Bragança, Guarda, Castelo Branco, Santarém, Beja and Faro are at very high risk.
At high risk of fire are about five dozen municipalities in the districts of Bragança, Vila Real, Guarda, Castelo Branco, Viseu, Leiria, Santarém, Portalegre, Lisbon, Beja and Faro.
The fire risk determined by the IPMA has five levels, ranging from reduced to maximum.
Calculations are obtained from air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and amount of precipitation in the last 24 hours.
The IPMA forecasts on 29 June an increase in the maximum temperature in the interior regions, especially in the North and Centre, and strong wind in the western coastal strip.
The minimum temperatures on the continent will vary between 14 degrees Celsius (in Guarda and Viseu) and 23 degrees (in Faro) and the maximum between 23 percent (in Aveiro) and 36 degrees (in Évora and Beja).
