The incident happened early yesterday afternoon in the hotel’s engine room.
A source from the Faro District Relief Operations Command (CDOS) told Sul Informação that five people were transferred to the Albufeira Health Centre. T
hree others were sent to Faro Hospital, while seven other people were assisted on site. Among those injured by the chemical gasses were employees and tourists.
