Uber said it will start its new service from Wednesday.

The company will also be launching a pilot project whereby tourists will be offered guides and recommendations via the use of the company’s app.

Uber has been operational in the Algarve since last summer, but had up until now only concentrated its activity between Albufeira and Faro. Uber is also operational in Lisbon and Porto.
