The travel of veterinary doctors or the transport of animals for veterinary medical assistance, as well as the treatment of colonies of street animals authorised by the municipalities are allowed in the decree that regulates the state of emergency.

According to the decree, among the authorised journeys on public roads are “journeys by veterinarians, animal keepers for medical-veterinary assistance, caregivers from colonies recognised by the municipalities, volunteers from associations with animals in charge who need to go to animal shelters and animal rescue teams ”.

These justifications that authorise circulation in the presence of a state of emergency that takes effect at midnight on March 22, are set out in the article that determines a general duty of home confinement and provides for situations in which one can leave home.
