During the usual press conference at the Ministry of Health on the covid-19 pandemic in Portugal, António Lacerda Sales indicated that more than 3.4 million people had already been tested, equivalent to about a third of the population.
Portugal is conducting an average of more than 280,000 tests for SARS-CoV-2, registering days with more than 30,000 analyzes, according to Lusa News Agency.
“We have more than 300 percent of the testing capacity we had in March, which I think is a substantial reinforcement”, added the Secretary of State.
Over last weekend, 31 October and 1 November, 52,947 tests were undertaken, of which 30,713 were on Saturday and 22,244 were on Sunday.
A third of the “Portuguese” population.

Mass tests to see if we have or had a deadly pandemic - think about it when in human history have we had tests made for a whole population regarding a flu?
What is the point of making tests, if the cotton mask deception really worked, why is more so called cases arriving?
I say the masks reinfect people and prolong the flu they have, and also lower the immun system when breathing become more difficult, cleaning hands to often also remove the skin natural protection and result in serious skin infections.

Magnus,
The point of a mask is not to keep you from catching a virus. The point of wearing a mask whilst among other people is to help REDUCE the amount of virus you are knowingly (symptomatic) or unknowingly (asymptomatic) spewing unto others. It is an attempt to reduce the viral load to help those who catch it have a less severe infection. Could a mask re-infect someone? Perhaps if they only have one and never wash it. It's a bit like underwear. You have more than one pair, yes? As for testing, just because a person has been tested once doesn't mean they should never be tested again. Imagine person A gets a test today and is negative. Now imagine person A encounters person B, who has the virus, two days from now. Person A may become infected and require, wait for it, ANOTHER TEST. Now, the only thing I will agree with you about is the silliness of the title of this article, but that is where I draw the line. And I'm not even going to address the asinine point you are trying to make about handwashing. Wear a mask. Own more than one so you can wash/disinfect. Wash your hands. If we all try to treat each other with respect we MIGHT just get through this faster.
