The Prime Minister admitted today that next week the Government will be able to take more restrictive measures to face the increase in contagions and said that it will proceed to the hearing of the parties and the social partners.

António Costa was speaking to the Council of Ministers, at a press conference, stressing that these more restrictive measures against covid-19 may already come into force on the 12th.

The leader of the executive mentioned that the numbers referring to new contagions verified on Wednesday and today are around ten thousand, "which indicates a worsening of the epidemiological situation" in the country.
