Number of in-patients in Hospitals in the Centre declines

Hospitals in the Centro region recorded a decrease in the number of inpatients in Covid-19 wards and intensive care units on 10 February, the Administração Regional de Saúde do Centro (ARSC) said on 11 February.
The daily report said that at 11:59pm on 10 February there were 1,088 inpatients in Covid-19 wards, 50 less than on the previous day, and 143 in intensive care units, 10 less, of which 99 were ventilated.
According to the ARSC, occupancy rates in wards and intensive care units fell from 83 percent to 79 percent and from 84 percent to 78 percent, respectively.
Hospitals in the Central region, on 11 February, issued 89 discharges for patients in wards and two in intensive care, and also registered 26 deaths in hospital, five less than the previous day.
In the social, private, military and Back-up Support Structures sector, 75 patients with Covid-19 are hospitalised (five less than the previous day), in 123 active beds.
