Portugal’s parliament will today being voting on the renewal of the state of emergency until March 1, to allow measures to contain covid-19. The renewal is said to be guaranteed approval. The draft decree by the President of the Republic that deputies will debate and vote on this afternoon foresees that a phased plan for the reopening of face-to-face classes is defined, addresses the sale of books and school materials, and allows limits on noise at certain times in residential buildings so as not to disturb those who are working from home.
