Portugal improves in higher education

Figures from 2020 show Portugal has climbed 9 percentage points in comparison to 2015, and 16 percentage points higher than 2010.

Portugal has hit the European target when it comes to higher education, with 43 percent of its population aged between 30 and 34 now having a qualification. This is according to the latest data from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Learning. It claims figures from the last quarter of 2020 show Portugal has climbed 9 percentage points in comparison to the last quarter of 2015, and 16 percentage points of the last quarter of 2010.
