Portugal’s government is allegedly preparing a mass Covid testing roll-out, of 400,000 tests every 14 days.

TVI24 broke this news, quoting the former President of the Portuguese Medical Association, Germano de Sousa, who currently oversees clinical analysis laboratories.

De Sousa reportedly said this testing scenario is feasible. This comes at a time when the numbers of new Covid cases are beginning to drop significantly in Portugal when compared to January pandemic indicators.
