This is according to a study by the Coimbra Business School (CBS), which assessed the impact of the pandemic on the efficiency of 37 hospitals, using “data made available by the National Health Service (SNS) between January 2019 and November 2020".
Algarve hospitals occupy the top position on the list, as far as efficiency is concerned, followed by two large hospitals in Porto.
