Daily vaccination of 100,000 people “within two to three weeks”

Portugal’s covid vaccination plan coordinator said today that, within two to three weeks, it will be possible to vaccinate an average of 100,000 people per day, a process that will be "complex" due to the speed and number of doses to be administered.

8 000 000 persons to vaccinate* 2 doses/person => 16 000 000
2 000 000 done => 14 000 000
With 100 000 per day => 140 days. => 5 months
Will be done in October.
