According to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS)’s weekly vaccination report, 341,313 were vaccinated in the last week, and around 9% of the population are fully inoculated with both doses of the jab.
In total, just under 3,500,000 (3,483,599) doses of vaccines have been administered since the covid-19 vaccination plan began on December 27, 2020.
I find this hard to believe. I don't know anyone here in Lisbon who has been vaccinated. What we see are scenes like this:
"In areas around Lisbon over the weekend hundreds of people carrying text messages telling them they had appointments for their first shots turned up at the doors of vaccination centres that were firmly closed."
Portugal has moved back firmly in the 2nd World.
