Portugal added to UK Green List for international travel as of May 17

Along with Portugal, Gibraltar and Israel were also added to the Green List. The Red list saw the addition of Turkey, The Maldives, and Nepal.

Grant Shapps today at the COVID-19 downing street press conference announced the first "tentative steps to unlock international travel" saying also that travel is crucial to rebuilding the British economy. Saying that Britian's success in vacinating their population has not been duplicated across the globe. We must make sure the countries we re-connect with have safe and secure surveillance in place and acceptable virus infection rates and vaccination programs.

No one is safe until everyone is safe. When the suits do the job we pay them for and make vaccines available to every Algarve resident THEN and only then should tourists be allowed to return.

It would be good to know the requirements for family visiting from UK to Portugal as well.
