The 22nd LGBTI+ pride march will return to the streets of Lisbon on Saturday, after a year’s hiatus due to the covid-19 pandemic.

This year’s motto is to “deconfine rights, dispel prejudices''.

Participants are marching for better access to health, especially sexual health, for gender self-determination without the need for medical evaluation, and for the “urgency of a state response” to social problems facing the LGBTI community. Organisers urged participants to comply with social distancing and mask-wearing.

Comments:

Portugal is developing every moment. Everybody is open-minded, there is freedom and justice. Economy is still not in the level where it should be. But at least growing. Wonderful country, saudade.
