People aged 40 and over and without an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccine can now go to the vaccination centre associated with their health centre to receive their first dose, the ‘task force’ announced today.

“The 'open house' modality is already available for vaccinating the first doses of users who are not scheduled, aged 40 years or over and who have not been infected with Covid-19 in the last six months".

According to the team led by Vice Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo, people who want to be vaccinated this way should go to the Covid vaccination centre which corresponds to the health centre in which they are registered and at specific times for this type of vaccination, which can be consulted on the Ministry of Health's internet portal (https://covid19.min-saude.pt/casa_aberta).

“The 'open house' modality ensures that all eligible people are called to the vaccination process”, can be read in the note released to the media.

How funny

From having to line up like cattle to get a vaccine just a few weeks back to suddenly be able to get a one on a whim.

Doesn’t add up
