The districts of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra, Leiria, Castelo Branco, Santarém, Lisbon, Portalegre, Évora and Beja will have notice between 09:00 on 15 July and 6:00 pm Saturday due to persistence of high values ​​of the maximum temperature.

On 16 July, the districts of Vila Real, Bragança, Viseu and Guarda join the 12 districts that are currently under yellow warning because of the hot weather.

These four districts will be under yellow notice between 10:00 am on 16 July and 6:00 pm on 17 July.

IPMA forecasts hot weather for 15 July on the mainland with cloudy or clear skies and rising temperatures, especially on the North and Center coasts.

Light to moderate wind is also forecast from the east quadrant, being moderate to strong in the highlands until late morning and from late afternoon, blowing temporarily west/northwest on the west coast in the afternoon.

The minimum temperatures on the mainland will vary between 13 degrees Celsius (in Bragança) and 24 (in Portalegre) and the maximum between 29 (in Guarda) and 39 (in Santarém).
