The event turned out to be very successful, as 43 members and friends of the Society took part on the day.

It was evident from the very start that people were greatly relieved and delighted to have the opportunity to engage socially again after the restrictions of Covid over the past two years.

The putting competition was hotly contested and a close run event.

The winner of the coveted Helen Cafolla Trophy was Peter James with 37 strokes, with runner-up Mary Keegan, on 38, a mere one stroke behind.

After an excellent Buffet lunch some members, no doubt aided by the free flowing wine, and led by Mixie Clarke on the accordion, contributed to a lively sing-song, culminating in a very enjoyable day for all present.
The St.Patrick's Society organises several events, including walks, lunches, etc. throughout the year and welcomes new members of any nationality.
