The official defended that it is necessary "to continue to take all measures and to do everything to contain this threat", warning that "the worst that can happen is to leave a crisis and enter another, or worse than that, a cascade of crises”.

This year, according to António Costa Silva, the Government estimates that the tourism and services sector will generate revenues of 16 billion euros, which corresponds to 85% of the revenues obtained in 2019, the best year in history.
