All cases confirmed by the Instituto Nacional de Saúde Doutor Ricardo Jorge (INSA) are in men between the ages of 19 and 61, most of whom are under 40, says the DGS on its website, adding that identified cases remain in clinical follow-up, and are stable.

“Most infections have been reported, to date, in Lisbon and Vale do Tejo, but there are also cases in the North and Algarve regions”, informs the health authority, adding that the information collected through epidemiological surveys is being analysed to contribute to the assessment of the outbreak at national and international level.
