Diesel prices are to soar this Monday and, for the first time, the average price of diesel is expected to exceed two euros. According to ECO, this Monday, a litre of diesel should increase by 13 cents, but petrol is to fall by three cents.

This means that fuel prices are behaving differently this week. Taking into account the average values practiced at the pumps last Monday, recorded by the General Directorate of Energy and Geology, a litre of simple diesel will rise to 2.023 cents and petrol will fall to 2.141 euros.

This week, unlike the previous ones, there were no changes arising from taxation. The Ministry of Finance explained that because of the holidays, it would not make the usual weekly update of the ISP, so the value will not change until June 17.
