According to this Friday's edition of Expresso, the delay in
dispatching bags is four days, but there are airports where the situation is
more problematic with a greater number of "lost" luggage and with
delivery to passengers taking up to 14 days.
At Lisbon airport, the situation has reached the point where
baggage handlers Groundforce have been forced to hire three couriers that will
deliver bags to hotels and passengers' homes three times a day.
