Speaking to Lusa, on Thursday night, Commander Pedro Araújo, from the National Emergency and Civil Protection Authority (ANEP), assured that the pilot was not in danger of life, but that he was still seriously injured, with injuries mainly affecting the pelvic area and lower limbs.

To the Lusa News Agency, a source linked to the aviation sector said that the accident with the transport Bell 412, operated by Helibravo, based in Arcos de Valdevez, occurred shortly after the “last departure of the day”, after a collision with a “very high voltage cable”.
